Nairobi, Masai Mara and Nakuru Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and meet your safari guide.
Transfer to your hotel for check-in and relaxation after your journey.
Depending on your arrival time, you can opt for a brief city tour.
Dinner and overnight stay in Nairobi.

Day 2

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Nanyuki

Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Nanyuki (approx. 4–5 hrs drive).
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon game drive in the conservancy, home to the last two northern white rhinos and a thriving population of other wildlife.
Visit the Sweet waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see rescued chimpanzees.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ol Pejeta.

Day 3

Full Day in Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five and other wildlife.
Optional activities:
Night game drive for a unique nocturnal wildlife experience.
Guided bush walks for an up-close nature experience.
Relax at your lodge in the evening, followed by dinner and overnight stay

Day 4

Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park

Early breakfast, then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 5–6 hrs drive).
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon game drive in the park, famous for its flamingos, black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and other wildlife.
Enjoy stunning views from Baboon Cliff.
Dinner and overnight stay in Lake Nakuru.

Day 5

Full Day in Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning game drive to spot lions, leopards, and buffaloes.
Return for breakfast and relax at the lodge.
Afternoon game drive or optional visit to the Makalia Falls.
Dinner and overnight stay in Lake Nakuru.

Day 6

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Breakfast at the lodge, then depart for Lake Naivasha (approx. 2 hrs drive).
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon boat safari on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos and abundant birdlife.
Visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest.
Dinner and overnight stay in Lake Naivasha.

Day 7

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast, then depart for Masai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5–6 hrs drive).
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation.
Afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
Enjoy the breathtaking sunset in the savannah before returning to the lodge.
Dinner and overnight stay in Masai Mara.

Day 8

Full Day in Masai Mara

Early morning game drive for a chance to witness big cats in action.
Breakfast at the lodge, followed by a full-day game drive with picnic lunch in the wild.
Optional visit to a Maasai village to experience their culture and traditions.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9

Masai Mara to Nairobi – Giraffe Centre & Shopping

Breakfast at the lodge, then depart for Nairobi (approx. 5–6 hrs drive).
Visit the Giraffe Centre, where you can feed and interact with the endangered Rothschild giraffes.
Time for last-minute shopping at local markets for souvenirs and Kenyan crafts.
Dinner and overnight stay in Nairobi.

Day 10

Departure

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.
